About SIXTH
One game, forty-one topics, six guesses. Every wrong answer tells you something true about the right one.
What SIXTH actually is
SIXTH is a free browser game about narrowing things down. A round gives you a topic — countries, cartoon characters, desserts, car brands — and a hidden answer from that topic. You get six guesses. What makes it a game rather than a coin flip is that a wrong guess is never wasted: the game grades it against the secret and hands the comparison back to you in colour.
Guess Brazil when the answer is Peru and you learn it is 2,300 km away to the west — so you have quietly ruled out an entire hemisphere. Guess Shrek when the answer is Toy Story and the grid tells you the decade is close, the studio is wrong, and the genre matches. Six guesses is plenty when each one is worth something. That is the whole design: no timers, no punishment for thinking, just information.
There is no account, no sign-up and no download. Your progress lives in your own browser. Open the page, tap play, you are in.
How a round plays
Distance topics — you place a guess on the world and get back kilometres,
a compass arrow and a warmth reading from
blazing to
ice cold. Pins
stack up on the map as you close in.- 🟩 Attribute grids — each guess fills a row of cells. Green means that trait matches exactly, yellow means you are one step off, and ▲▼ arrows tell you which way to move on the numbers.
Picture reveals — National Flags hides the real flag behind tiles that fall
away as you guess, so the answer arrives visually as well as logically.
Lose a round and you drop a
— you have three, and one comes back every 30 minutes,
so a bad streak costs you a coffee break, not your day. Two
hints land in your pocket
daily, a
streak counts your days, and a
level map tracks how far up the ladder you
have climbed. Level 12 is the same level 12 for everybody, everywhere.
The topic guides
Forty-one topics ship with the game, grouped into families that play in different ways. Each guide below explains what that family asks of you and how to open a round in it without burning guesses.

Who makes it
SIXTH is built by Kach Games, a tiny independent studio. It is funded by optional rewarded video ads — you are never forced to watch one, and skipping simply means skipping the reward. Bugs, wrong answers in a topic, or an idea for topic forty-six? Write to hello.kachgames@gmail.com; a human reads it.
